Boucle — the loopy, textured French weave fabric — is currently the defining material of contemporary Dubai design, seen in premium furniture showrooms, hotel lobbies and villa interiors across the city.
Fabric panels are installed in a variety of configurations. The most common is a full headboard wall — panels that cover the entire wall behind the bed, from floor to ceiling or from floor to picture rail height. Diamond-tufted panels (each panel individually pinned in a diamond pattern) are a more classical choice popular in Arabian-inspired interiors.
